Code of ethics

Breanna Gipson, hazel crest IL

This file describes the ethical obligation that I have made to myself, that no matter what organization or job I’m employed by, my values are well respected to the fullest. These values are what I live and will perform under. There are five key terms that I have listed below that disclose what my ethical perceptions are and what I expect from the organization as well.

Respect: self-esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality of ability

The organization or employment will show all employees respect and be fair by all means. I believe in giving everyone a chance to be sufficient in their career. I want where I work to reflect on my beliefs and how others perceive me. Showing kindness and thoughtfulness for all employees, clients, investors, belongings, beliefs rather religious or personal.

Honesty: moral uprightness: the quality, condition, or characteristic of being fair, truthful, and morally upright

The employees of the employer will be honest and considerate about other peoples’ feelings. Tell the truth about internal issues within the job regarding risk of termination. Also, I expect the employer or organization to not allow employers to not be truthful about any situation regarding another employee. I value being a part of a team that doesn’t engage in favoritism within the workplace. Because each employee should be treated equally.

Humor: funny quality: the quality or content of something such as a story, performance, or joke that elicits amusement and laughter

Having a sense of humor is very important. The employer I work for needs to help employees in adapting to their company’s culture/attitude. Managers should be approachable and easy to work with

I don’t promote a comedy show to be held within the workplace, but whatever job or organization I’m employed by, I want to feel comfortable and able to be myself.

Responsibility: the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone.

I expect my employer to be accountable for their own actions, and uphold their duties as higher roles and taking on responsibility as leaders of a company, organization, business. Etc

Aware: knowing something: having knowledge of something from having observed it or been told about it

Having knowledge about what goes on within the workplace helps the business stay on top of everything

Listening and being aware of your staff’s needs

knowing that something exists because you notice it or realize that it is happening

this employer must be aware of the progress and involvement done by employees

This concludes my code of ethics
